We are pleased to invite Mr. Barry Lo to share with us how Lean and Six Sigma is applied in Bank of China (Hong Kong).
Mr Lo is a Certified Black Belt and acquired 3 Master degrees in different disciplines including Financial Engineering, Management Science and EMBA. He began his career with Bank of China Group in 1981 and was appointed as General Manager of Bank-wide Operation department, with 1700 workforce in Bank of China (Hong Kong) in 2009. Mr. Lo aheres to the philosophy of continuous process improvement, with strong focus on innovation, process reengineering. Under his leadership, Bank-wide Operation Department has undergone a period of heightened activites - Lean Six Sigma deployment since 2011, striving vigorously towards Operational Excellence and expansion of regional scale. With his guidance, a crew of 170 Green Belt along with a total of 40 projects was successfully implemented in 2012 and 70 projects more was planned in 2013.
