Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) was established in Hong Kong in 1950, HAECO is one of the world’s leading independent aircraft engineering and maintenance groups. It is one of the largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers in terms of capacity. Through its subsidiaries and joint venture companies around the world, the Group offers a full spectrum of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, fleet technical management, cabin integration services and interior products, private jet solutions, freighter conversion, parts manufacturing and technical training.
The HAECO Group consists of 19 subsidiaries and affiliates, employing around 17,000 staff in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore and the United States.
It is our pleasure to have a visit to HAECO on 29 April 2016 to understand their process improvement journey and appreciate their significant achievement with the lean six sigma teams.
On the day of visit, we have a team of 15 members together with our Chairlady and Vice Chairman visiting the site. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Isis Law, Business Improvement Manager of HAECO, for her detailed introduction of the key milestones in HAECO process improvement journey and the achievements of the project teams. Isis showed us to the hanger tour after the introduction.
The visit starts from 2:00 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. We all learned a lot from HAECO.
