ISSC is pleased to hold its 11th Anniversary Annual Dinner on 18 May 2017. Over 80 participants joined the dinner. The dinner started with the ISSC 11 years review by the Chairlady, Dr. Rita Wan, and followed by the inspiring speech delivered by Dr Percy Chan on how to establish and develop sustainable Lean Six Sigma Management System in Multinational Companies.
Dr. Percy Chan joined GP Batteries International Limited in 2007 and is currently Quality Director and Acting Global Supply Chain Director of the company. He has over 20 years' working experience in the field of quality assurance. He is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) and a Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Black Belt (BB) in well renowned multinational companies respectively. He is a fellow of Professional Business and Technical Management, U.K., a senior member of American Society for Quality; a full member of Hong Kong Quality Management Association and a member of the Chartered Quality Institute, U.K.
In the keynote speech, Dr. Chan shared with us the key success factors to establish and sustain Lean Six Sigma in a multi-national company and took GP Batteries International Limited as an example. He also shared several key questions which a Leader should consider when promoting Lean Six Sigma in the organization. His hands on and practical experience lightened up the whole group of audience and we learned a lot from his pool of wisdom.
